Dale Keith Adamson
Dale Keith Adamson was born October 6, 1939 at Porter Hospital in Denver, Colorado to Milo and Dollie Adamson and entered into his heavenly home Feb 1, 2017 at the age of 77 after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson.
During his early years, Dale and his sister Janis traveled with their parents to several military bases where their father worked. This included Cheyenne, WY, Mountain View, ID and Camp Pando near Leadville, CO. They later moved to Englewood were he attended Hawthorne elementary, Flood Junior High and graduated from Englewood High School in 1958.
He worked for his father at Adamson Construction, starting as a child sweeping floors and later helped his father with building and remodeling of homes. After the death of his father, he did carpentry work. It was said, with enough time, he could figure out how to take anything apart and fix it.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. As his disease progressed communication was difficult for him and for us to understand him. In 2014, he said "Lord you are showing me in so many ways how to trust you Jesus. Everyday is a new challenge for me." His greatest desire is that everyone would have a relationship with his heavenly father as he did.
In 1959 he married Kay Patterson and they had three children, Brian, Roger and Kelli.
In 1990 he married Betty Hayes and added 3 step children to his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother and his wife Kay.
He is survived by his wife Betty, his sons Brian (Gena) and Roger, his daughter Kelli and his granddaughter Kassandra. His step children Glenn (LeaAnn), Nancy (Dave) and Carrie (Jim). His step grandchildren, Andy (Megan), Joshua, Ebony, Nathan, David, Jordan, Kara (Chris) and Kami. A step great-grandson, Micah. His sister, Janis (Eldon), his uncle, Dearl, his nephews Steve (Janet) and Tim (Kathy) his niece Cindy, several cousins and many special friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are requested for the Missions Department at Englewood Bible Church.
